I have seen only one Spike Lee movie so what I’m about to say is said (by my beget admission) with ignorance, but Jim Brown All American must be his masterpiece… his tour de force. This hour long documentary deeply explores not only the astonishing athletic career of this exceptional athlete but also the obstacles– notably prejudice– over which Jim Brown had to prevail on his draw to greatness. It also reveals what makes Jim Brown an exceptional (and admirable) human being off the playing field as well. His capacity for cherish and forgiveness, portrayed in the opening scene of the documentary, impressed me at least as powerful as did his absolutely incredible performances on the football AND lacrosse fields.

At the same time, I was very impressed with Mr. Lee’s evenhanded and thoughtful treatment of Jim Brown’s right troubles. He didn’t whitewash or paper over this turbulent aspect of Jim Brown’s life. He also documented the significant intervention of many worthy people in his formative years without whom Jim Brown’s life might have taken a different course.

I know what you’re thinking…”This guy’s impartial another rabid Cleveland Browns fan in his 50’s who grew up rooting for Jim Brown.” Not so. I’m a rabid Chicago Bears fan in his 50’s who sees Jim Brown and Gale Sayers starting in the same backfield on God’s All-Universe Team.

The documentary was informative, piquant, and– above all– fascinating. I can’t wait until it is issued so I can bewitch it for myself and explain it to all the aging Cleveland Browns fans who surround me in my cul-de-sac.

I wish I could give it more than five stars.

This documentary is probably more balanced thatn ESPN’s and FOX’s versions combined. Subjects like Jim Brown are difficult to be encapsuled in such a short time, but Spike probably did as suited a job as any filmmaker could.

I also agree agout the balance concerning his good issues. Allowing multiple parties to converse their perspectives gives the viewer the responsibility to compose up his/her absorb mind.

The most impressive thing was Jim expressing lament and remorse for not being the father he wanted to be for his children (prior to his reveal marriage to Monique and their two children) . He took responsibility for their development and stated that by dealing with his personal survival and conflict with their respective mothers, the children suffer.

When Charmed debuted wait on in 1998, it was a exhibit that many people were indignant, yet hesitant to observe. It was the first series for Shannen Doherty since her 90210 days and she would once again be teaming up with TV chronicle Aaron Spelling whom she was speculated having difficulties with on many occasions. It was also the career advance help for Alyssa Milano who’s only highlight since Who’s The Boss was playing opposite Heather Locklear on Melrose Residence. And Holly Marie Combs, the lesser known star then, had honest approach from CBS’ family drama Picket Fences. All three actresses would be working together to pull off a drama about witchcraft. A taboo subject that many people wanted to avoid if it didn’t have anything to do with comedy (Sabrina, Bewitched, etc.) and an belief that people in showbiz wanted to exploit after the success of 1996’s The Craft. Alot was riding on this tv indicate that was placed on Thursday nights opposite Seinfield on a puny known network called The WB. I recently watched this entire series, and although the first few episodes launch tiresome, the series is incredible. The writers have created a explain that combines science fiction with still terror and wonderful fable telling that will not let you down. If you have only seen an episode, or even honest fragment of an episode, prefer my advice and gawk the series from the beginning. I had seen the explain on a few times, but it failed to salvage my attention because I was wondering what the heck was going on. Sanctuary is the first sci-fi indicate in a while that I have been really overjoyed watching. Now that I have seen the first season, I will most certainly be watching Season 2.

- Some of the scenes are downright improbable.

Hope this review has been excellent, as I consider a lot of people will cherish this present, but either don’t know about it, or don’t want to risk wasting their time.

I esteem it, and I mediate you will be pleased it as well!

Imagine this: a giant gothic building that serves as a “sanctuary” to various queer, freakish and/or hazardous creatures that exist in the world.

That’s the plan unhurried “Sanctuary: The Complete First Season,” a fantasy/sci-fi indicate that started off as a series of webisodes, then got turned into a point to for the Sci Fi (Sy Fy? ) Channel. The first season starts off shaky and sometimes painfully droll (nubbins!), but the second half suddenly smooths itself into a solid arc of secrets, conspiracies, and a fanatical enemy organization.

Forensic psychiatrist Will Zimmerman (Robin Dunne) has a shapely base life — his girlfriend has left, his job is a joke, and nobody believes his deductions. But during a bizarre abolish investigation, he encounters a weird woman named Helen Magnus (Amanda Tapping) who offers him a job at the Sanctuary.

The Sanctuary turns out to be a gargantuan cathedral-like structure filled with “Abnormals” — mermaids, elementals, iguana-men, two-faced dudes, or anything that doesn’t tumble in the boundaries of known science. But the Sanctuary’s residents are now in distress from a charming Abnormal named John Druitt (Christopher Heyerdahl), who has a longtime connection to Helen. And unless he gets what he wants from her, he’ll demolish her daughter Ashley (Emilie Ullerup) .

Other Sanctuary problems: a trio of amnesiac women who may be the Morrigan, a drug lord among the Folding Men, an autistic boy whose pictures suppose Abnormals, a Himalayan plane rupture with a mind-altering monster, a brain parasite in the Bermuda Triangle that threatens to turn Magnus into a psycho killer, the superfertile Nubbins (like carnivorous Totoros), a man who looks suspiciously like Magnus’ unhurried father, and a pair of reporters who peep the Sanctuary team fighting rare killer insects. And John Druitt reappears to whisper that an customary friend of Helen’s has turned against her…

And the Sanctuary has a recent enemy — the fanatical Cabal, who want all Abnormals under their control. When they unleash a biological weapon that turns Abnormals into raving killers, Helen’s primitive sight group (”The Five”) must reunite to put the Abnormal population.

The first half of “Sanctuary: The Complete First Season” is a severely mixed bag — most of it isn’t really unpleasant, but it’s not terribly new or spellbinding. And the “nubbins” (tribbles with teeth) episode is impartial embarrassingly comical. But with the introduction of Nicola Tesla (who is a vampire!), suddenly the entire series tightens up and becomes far more streamlined, complex and emotionally grand.

Along the diagram, the writers have the series with all sorts of freaky creatures (ranging from a Hulk-like supersoldier to a floating snake beastie), slimy body parts, and some gun-heavy action scenes. The writing is rather wobbly in the first half (”Women and geeks first… oh, no, that’s all of us”), but the sci-fi edge gives it a quirky appeal (”I guess Ike didn’t want to breathe the same air as the Nazi High Jabber.” “Some of them didn’t even breathe air”) .

And “Sanctuary” has a attractive striking peer — half industrial science complex, and half Gothic decay, with stout cathedral-like buildings, grey cloudy skies, and the half-ruined Worn City. Most of the backgrounds are CGI, which gives the series a composed, stylized peep.

Despite her awkward accent, Tapping is a mighty presence as the hyperintellectual, immortal Helen Magnus, and Dunne is knowing from the initiate as the Daniel Jackson of the series (vivid and geeky, with a tragic past) . Ryan Robbins is huge as the resident techno-superbrain, who is shrinking by his maintain Abnormal secret, and Christopher Heyerdahl does a intelligent two-character turn — he’s the charming, composed killer John Druitt, and he’s also the horrified but proper butler Bigfoot.

The one groundless stamp is Ashley — while Ullerup does a handsome job, the character is an urban fantasy cliche — cocky, gun-happy, and wears a leather catsuit during fights. But the supporting cast is magnificent curious, especially since the writers open ushering in Victorian literary and historical figures.

“Sanctuary: The Complete First Season” has some noteworthy wobbles in its first half, but the second half stabilizes and flowers like a dark rose. Peek it, if nothing else to prepare for the second season.

Ramayana is one of the best stories told ever. It is world’s oldest known literature in poetic execute. No one has any understanding when or if it actually happened.

Valmiki, the author, had mentioned planetary positions and constellations site during major events. So based on that, astronomers are predicting that its around 7000 BC.

The account in this film is only till Uttar Ramayan. That is traditionally where Ramayan is performed in Ramaleela. Some scholars do not beget Uttar Ramayan was actually written by Valmiki.

Many major versions, translations and commentaries are available for Ramayana. Some even very different from Valmiki’s version and some some treat the whole tale as symbolic or parable. I have read, heard and seen Ramayan many times from B. R. Chopra’s Ramayan, Ramayan by William Buck/Ramdass, Michael Sternfeld’s audio, Deepak Chopra’s comics and many more. This one is a light weight and contextually simple beginner’s edition. This film is sterling disaster by Nippon Films to visualize Ramayan for all. The animation and sounds are obedient. The colors and graphic is intelligent and eye-catching. The tale has simple incidents in Ramayana bewitching beautifully. This is a helpful storyline for kids. If you know Hindi, I recommend to collect Hindi version. It has sounds by Bollywood actors like Om Puri, Shatrughna Sinha. The devotional music is sweet(I consider from Ramacharitamas by Tulsidas) . English version is agreeable too. I judge they have a Japanese version as well.

The epic is probably most well known in the Hindu faith and probably told millions of times, but Mr. Yugo Sako, the director of this animation is nothing short of a genious. The animation is still, spellbinding and dazzling. The music is collected and euphoric and the record is masterfully captured highlighting all the major acts and well doings of Lord Ram. The myth gives dimension to each character and the mixture of Japanese and Indian styles of drama are clearly seen in an almost magical blend.

This is the best remove I have ever made and it will be for a very long time. Natarajbooks also sent me a tiny calender and packaged was up to tag. The delivery was very timely and overall I am one Joyful customer.

The DVD has both English and Hindi audio tracks, with English and Hindi Subtitles.

In short, if you want a share of art, or movie to prove the entire family or to have a better view of the Ramayan, this DVD is the ultimate source

Perhaps if I had stumbled over this film as a rental first instead of buying it outright discover unseen, tag novel at Best Recall I might feel more noble disposed towards it. “WTF? ” you are no doubt saying at this point. “You’ve given it 4 stars and you’re saying that you don’t like the film? ” Well yeah, kinda sorta. I made the mistake of buying it on impulse based on the rave reviews on the hide, the blurb on the benefit, and some veil art that made it gawk like the greatest thing since RE-ANIMATOR, Heinous Dull 2, and ARMY OF DARKNESS. And I can’t afford to throw my money away like that, but I took the chance anyway. Needless to say the film didn’t sigh what I had been expecting/hoping for, which was something along the lines of a legend built around a character like the one John Ratzenberger (Cliff Clavin from CHEERS) played in HOUSE 2. You know, the electrician who is also an “adventurer” on the side? He takes one glance inside the walls of the house and drawls matter of factly, “Yeah, it looks like you have some sort of alternate universe in there.” Of course I know better than to go into any film with preconceived notions like that, but in this case my mind fair ran away with me and I couldn’t succor it.

Buy,Download, Or Stream Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer! Click Here

The film stars Robert Englund in one of his best performances in ages as a night school science teacher, Professor Crowley, who has in his class our title character Jack Brooks. Now Jack (played by Trevor Mathews who also co-wrote the chronicle on which the screenplay is based) is fair loaded with History. It seems at a very tender age he witnessed his whole family’s slaughter at the claws and fangs of some sort of man/monster while they were out camping in the woods. The only thing that saved dinky Jack’s life was the fact that he ran. Running hurt up taking control of the rest of his life. He ran from all of the notable things in life only to have his pent up rage at his believe perceived cowardice erupt at unexpected moments. Anyhoo, one night after class the superb professor asks Jack (a plumber by trade) if he could possibly terminate by his house and back him with a dilemma he’s having with his pipes. (Catch your minds out of the gutter, that’s not the kind of pipes I meant.) Jack’s got nothing better to do, so that very night he checks it out. It seems simple enough at first, but isn’t that the plan it is with every plumbing predicament? Before you know it all matter of disgusting matter is hitting the fan and Jack has to order a unique gasket and advance befriend in a couple of days. But by then it will be too slow! For no sooner has he left than than a snide ooze seeps from the ground and its fumes initiate turn the sweet ol’ professor into a meat craving monster!

This flick has an unpleasant lot going for it. For one thing there is (as far as I can thunder) absolutely no CGI anywhere! Everything is done the ample mature fashioned way–with prosthetics, puppets, and men in monster suits. Professor Crowley literally erupts into a tentacled creature from hell that sucks the life out its victims and turns them into flesh eating beasts themselves. MONSTER SLAYER is, as it claims to be, a tribute to some of the best flicks from the 1980s, but yet it fair doesn’t do it for me. The humor it claims to have simply isn’t there for one thing, and for me that is a very, very titanic point indeed. The 1980s was the Golden Age of fright comedy and a ample fraction of the appeal of those flix WAS the humor, whether it was the amusing wit of RE-ANIMATOR or the “splat-shtick” arrive of Sam Raimi in Inappropriate Humdrum 2. And what’s worse JACK BROOKS is a very bland hero! I deem the role practically screams for someone who can describe an ordinary everyday man and then rip away all that blandness and channel the laughable book spirit of Bruce Campbell when the region calls for it!

Buy,Download, Or Stream Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer! Click Here

I don’t know, I objective don’t know. Perhaps when I witness this film again in a few months all the unbelievable parts, the aged school effects and so forth, will triumph over my disappointment. That’s why I’ve given it 4 stars instead of 3. Perhaps they intend to build a series out of this character. That has some tremendous possibilities. Oh no! Don’t originate thinking about what COULD be again, it will only lead to disappointment.

Do you dislike CGI??

Jack Brooks does.

Do you miss the days of corn syrup, latex, and paper-mache’??

Jack Brooks distinct does.

Not only is Jack Brooks whipping monster arse,

cracking their jaws in half & taking their frightening names,

but he’s doing it old-school style.

Jack Brooks likes the old-school.

Plenty of monsters there.

Plenty of monsters, but not 1 Computer Generated Image in discover.

But……(there’s always a but)

Jack Brooks has a bit of an arouse plight.

One he’s having effort controling.

Ok so it’s a major enrage predicament.

But can you blame the guy?!?!

His family was killed by a forest troll when he was objective a boy.

A helpless boy who stood by unable to aid.

Now Jack Brooks has a psychiatrist.

A partiularly useless one.

One who might need to gather punched in the face.

And then there’s school to anxiety about too.

Which is hard enough in itself,

without having to deal with a teacher mutating into Krueger The Hutt.

Yeah it’s a hard life for Jack Brooks,

but a monster slayers gotta do what a monster slayers gotta do.

Ok seriously though,

You’re gonna fancy this movie.

It has grand character development brought to life by a tall cast.

It has barrels of black-comedy laughs.

And lots of Non-CGI monsters. (remember those?? )

I went into this one thinking it was going to be as lame as a shrinking sloth.

But boy was I pleasantly suprised!!!

You’ve made me a believer Jack.

Now I’d like to gaze Mr. Brooks pick on monsters that exist in other movies.

Tremors, Critters, Vampires, Sleepwalkers, whatever!!

MORAL OF THE STORY:

So many monsters. So petite time.

OR

Anger Management is the ability to raze 2 monsters at once.

I have always been a fan of the Friday franchise, so for me this dinky deal is unprejudiced satisfactory. The first film is a comedy classic. The second, while amusing fails to arrive the area of the first…and the third makes it all worth while with a return to gut busting hilarity. All About the bengimans is not a abominable film…but it is fair intelligent…nothing outstanding. All in all the four disk region for a marvelous label from a honorable vendor is a sizable engage.

This DVD region includes two double sided discs starring Ice Cube in some comedy favorites. “Friday”, “Next Friday”, “Friday After Next” (my personal fave) and “All About The Benjamins” are all in one position for many laughs. Mike Epps and Chris Tucker are hilarious. Any fan of Ice Cube and the “Friday” series will indulge in this one!!!

You bag your money’s worth if you’re looking for action, twists and turns. Lots of villians in this dismal western. The cast line up is fantastic…Eric Braeden (avenging hero), Billy Zane (bumbling attorney plus), Armand Assante (sinister law), George Kennedy (outrageous father of the villian), James Patrick Stuart (vast villian…you’ll loathe him!), Sean Young and Carol Alt…wow. Acting, costuming, and sets are sizable. No high tech stunts, but more believable for this era.

I conception this movie was well acted, told the honest legend well and was a nail biter from the microscopic I started watching. I couldn’t turn away. Talk about revenge & vigilante justice, It had it all hands down. I loved the movie. It brings befriend the flavor of the old-fashioned westerns, done beautifully and at times lots of blood & gore. But it added to the record and was not the reason for the yarn. Not over the top as a lot of movie that do gore for gores sake. I highly recommend this movie.

Summertime pairs Hepburn with Italian hunk Rossano Brazzi in a exquisite, sunless, silly and ultimately very adult film about a Boring Jane who finds romance in Venice. Hepburn is a joy to study here as she gets to display so many facets of her character. Jane Hudson is socially self-assured; she has a silly quip for every occasion and she’s not worried to declare her mind; she really is the quintessential American spinster of the early 20th century. She has a romantic side that longs for moonlight trysts in a gondola, dancing at midnight, and coffee and small-talk with her lover in a sidewalk café, but there’s an element of prudishness which holds her support from a adore affair with a married Venetian who assures her that he and his wife have an “thought.” Ultimately Jane recognizes that she’s not likely to obtain her dream of care for intact and that she’d be a fool not to grasp the one on offer, and she blossoms into the gay, loving, passionate woman she (and the viewer) always suspected she could be.

Brazzi as Renato is earnest and glowing, and while he’s no mountainous shakes as an actor, he does persuade us. After all, we want to be persuaded, don’t we? Impartial like Jane Hudson, we want to enjoy that even after half a lifetime of loneliness and disappointment, esteem is possible. There are some nice supporting roles here, particularly a young Darrin McGavin as a self-involved artist, and Mari Aldon as his trophy wife who isn’t quite as dead as she first seems. There are a few bits of business that seem forced, such as the loud, insensitive American tourists - perhaps this sort of characterization has become so clichéd that what was novel in 1955 seems awkward and heavy-handed now - and Jane’s friendship with a street urchin who cadges cigarettes from her. On the other hand, Isa Miranda gives a glorious, low-key performance as the owner of the pensione where Jane is staying. If Jane is the quintessential American spinster, then Signora Fiorina is the essence of a worldly European woman of “a distinct age.”

Don’t stare for a syrupy, artificially gay ending here; Jane returns to her former life, her proper life, if you will, in spite of the happiness she’s known with Renato because she is a practical woman and this was, after all, unbiased a summertime high-tail.

Venice has never been more beautiful; Katherine Hepburn has never been more poignant, and Rosanno Brazzi has never been sexier. And this DVD version of the film captures the Techni-colors in ways they’ve not been seen since the film was released in the mid-50s. What’s surprising about seeing the film today (for anyone with a knowledge of where mask morals were in the 50s) is the fact that it deals with adultery in a arrangement that was rarely seen in its time. Spinster Hepburn goes off to romantic Venice, sort-of-but-not-quite looking for admire, and when she finds it, it’s with a middle-aged, married man. While she doesn’t “win the guy” in the waste, she isn’t “punished for her transgression” either. It seems a miracle that the Church allowed such a movie to be made in the 50s–and in Italy no less. Look this in a double bill with “Roman Holiday” and you’ll be booking a flight to Italy before the ruin credits accomplish rolling.

I have to admit that this movie moved me on many levels. After getting over the initial shock of what is, for very good reason, considered to be not just a violent film but also a very disturbing one in terms of subject - this movie I am convinced is destined to become a cult classic. As mentioned previously, Battle Royale is an unforgiving movie but like all great films there are pockets of resistance and liberation. This exceedingly disturbing and deeply saddening film about watching young kids killing each other out of a primal need to survive should disturb anyone with a shred of humanity left in them. What should be noted is that in this case of art imitating life it opens up a portal of consideration of how people may react in this type of situation and the inherent complexity contained therein.

No matter what critics say about its violence Battle Royale is really a story about character. Based on the novel by Takami Koshun, Battle Royale is provocative on many. One way to see the movie is in terms of a not so distant future Japan (which is this case can stand in as a metaphor to other countries) where the government’s trepidation about rampant juvenile delinquency and the a lost generation’s blatant disregard for order and the rule of law has caused it seek more immediate and less creative ways to deal with the problem, the solution: the systematic annihilation of teenagers. In this case, selected groups of high school kids are deceived and carted of to an undisclosed location, given weapons and supplies and a mission - to kill each other. In an orgy of blood and gore the last person standing is allowed to go home. This, at least for me, brings up two very difficult questions: Is it a story about extermination or discipline? If it is, what possible benefit can be derived from this?

Returning quickly to the issue of “character,” it is interesting to see how director Kinji Fukasaku and writer Kenta Fukasuka bring Takami Koshun’s novel to the screen. It is also interesting to see how director Fukasaku controls a herd of cats in a powerhouse cast of 40+ characters that includes Beat Takeshi’s rendition of Kitano as well as the portrayal of Shuya (Tatsuya Fujiwara), Noriko (Aki Maeda), Shougo (Taro Yamamoto), Kazou (Masanobu Ando), Mitsuko (Kou Shibasaki) and Takako (by Kill Bill’s Chiaki Kuriyama). I was intrigued to seeing how some of the characters reacted to stressful situations that in some places (unless you watch the film at least twice) are lost around the films central motif of extreme ruthlessness and violence.

Needless to say that despite the films wicked cinematography and primitivistic tendencies - it being set in a tropical island and all - not to mention the almost mandatory erotic undertones, it is more than anything, a movie about a society on the verge of imploding. It is noted that Fukasaku’s motivations for making the movie transcend politics and society. Dilemma: if your survival rested on you killing your best friends, would you do it? This is the circumstance in Battle Royale and it is a very provocative one. This brutal premise and what happens next is inevitably - a very cruel film. Fukasaku rendition has a Lord of the Fliesesque quality about it. I cannot stress how great a movie this is though. Overall, this is one of the most thought provoking, disturbing, and powerful films released. I was not surprised that this film has not been released in the US but just like the saga of “RINGU” - my guess is that inevitably this film will be hijacked as well - it is the Hollywood way.

Another “layer” to be uncovered from this blood-soaked saga is how Fukasaku calls to question a Japanese society whose rage over youth delinquency (as mentioned previously) and has gone so far to imagine a `final solution.’ If it was Fukasaku’s intent, it got me thinking that if such a solution were put in place the results would be a fight to the death will be a traumatized, angry and extremely mentally agile mind would be released back on society - making the problem doubly worse - as if the society is cultivating violence. In Battle Royale Fukasaku is thought provoking again in that he allows for pockets of resistance and moments of female empowerment. The sub-plot of hacking in to the system and destroying the whole game and the scenes with Mitsuko (Kou Shibasaki) although not unique add a particular liberating quality to the film. However there still is lingering the disturbing theme of Battle Royale, dealing as it does with the corollary of a system of violence transferred from generation to generation thus perpetuating a cycle of violence. In the end, the hub of the Battle Royale films is that violence without doubt impacts children. Is this what we want as a future for them? A wild, sexy, and thought provoking film that begs to be watched more than one time to be fully appreciated.

Very good movie. I strongly reccomend this movie to anyone who enjoys strange movies, because you’ve never ever seen a movie like this.
It’s the future… Kids have stopped going to class, and are becoming pests. So the government has started a new program called the “BATTLE ROYALE SURVIVAL PROJECT.” What happens is that one class of 9th graders a year is chosen by impartial lottery to go onto a deserted island. The kids then get ‘voted off’ the island. And by ‘voted off’ I mean they kill each other. Each kid gets a bag, inside is food, water, a map, and a random weapon. With this weapon, they are ordered to kill each other until one remains.
This movie has everything. Violence, plot, character development (somewhat — enough to satasfy me), and an amazing story. It’ll keep you on the end of your seat, or couch, or whatever.

Oh, and if you go out and see the new Tarantino movie, KILL BILL, the actress that plays Liu’s bodyguard is one of the kids from Battle Royale.
Buy this movie. I can’t stress it enough.

The Graduate of course is in my top 5 common films. So of course I had to upgrade to Blu-ray.

I was inflamed that all the reviews say that the DVD included the extras from The Graduate (40th Anniversary Collector’s Edition)

The DVD that came with my Bluray however did not. The version that came with mine was the 2005 MGM DVD release that only includes the trailer and 4:3 (not 16:9) letter-boxed version of the film. The Graduate

It seems Fox is objective throwing in whatever DVD copies they have on hand so while some people are getting the 40th Anniversary DVD not all copies include that version.

Admittedly the packaging doesn’t say that any of the DVDs extras are included but it’s composed disappointing when you read in reviews that they are included only to catch that they are not in the copy you secure. It’s a ragged disappear on Fox’s fraction to include the DVD with extras in some copies and not in others.

I contacted Fox about this and they aren’t willing to do anything about it.

So buyer beware NOT ALL COPIES INCLUDE THE DVD EXTRAS and there is no plan to enlighten whether or not it does without opening it.

I adore this movie, always loved it, even in Lo-Def or No Def.

Is Anne Bancroft hotter in HD/Blu-Ray? Is furious man Dustin Hoffman’s insane screaming, “Eeeeellllaaaaine!” at the top of his lungs as Katherine Ross stands at the alter about to say “I do,” more riveting and dramatic in Hi-Def?

Very possibly.

I don’t know, honestly. This movie is so incredible everytime I explore it though- Bancroft’s Mrs. Robinson is the consumate cougar, and her performance is iconic. And she IS hot, as well as deliciously, stalkerishly creepy in this role! You don’t need high def to devour that.

Dustin Hoffman’s portrayal of the confused and obsessed Benjamin Braddock is pitch perfect. This account never gets worn, it’s classic, timeless, and location to a sweet Simon & Garfunkel soundtrack.

If you’re replacing your collection with blu-ray, or if your looking for something to round out a “acquire one-get one” deal, secure this. It’s an well-known movie, whatever definition you’ve got.
